Huai Saneng Reservoir, located in Chaniang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surin Province, is just about 5 kilometers from the city center. This large reservoir offers stunning scenery, a refreshing breeze throughout the day, and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists seeking relaxation.
Why is it called the Sea of Surin?
Because it resembles a large lake, the atmosphere is peaceful and spacious. Visitors can swim, relax along the dam, or enjoy meals in the cool breeze. During the Songkran festival, it attracts a large number of tourists participating in various activities.




On the dam's embankment, there is a royal residence that has hosted members of the Thai royal family, such as Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra and other royals, during visits to the local people. Visitors are allowed to explore the surrounding areas.
